Frequently Asked Questions

For the 2025 DWKC season the splits will be as follows.

Male or Female

Ages: 4-6, 7-8, 9-10, 11-12, 13-14, 15-17, 18-34, 35-49, 50-59, 60+

Rank: Beginner 0-6 months (Beginner and Novice may be combined if Necessary)

Novice 7-12 Months

Intermediate 13-24 Months

Advanced 25 Months

Black Belt

Our Standard 5 events that we track points in the circuit are Breaking, Kata, Weapons, 3-point Sparring and 1 Point Sparring. Other events may be offered at each event; however they have no point value with DWKC.

To earn points at each event you must place in the top 4 of your division in each event

For each event you place in you will earn points.

Attendance points = 50 points for attending each event

1st place = 10 Points

2nd place =8 points

3rd place =6 points

4th place =4 points

Runner up = 2 points

You can earn a maximum of 100 points per tournament. 

At the end of the season, we will total up all points for the season and award the Division Champions a CUSTOM DRAGON STATUE.  You MUST attend 3/4 tournaments offered by the DWKC to receive your season end Statue.

Just show up to our events and compete, you will then be entered into the appropriate circuit divisions, and we will start tracking your progress.

Any Martial Artist can join us and compete.  We are happy to host positive minded martial artists & their supporters.  Any poor sportsmanship or unsavory riff raff will result in you not being invited back to any future DWKC events
